Strawberry fields Forever

Orders are pouring in already for Valentine's Day. A couple of organizations are using our fudge as an on line fundraiser which is increasing volume. Very exciting. Wonderful to know that we can help raise money for good causes. Great work from Susan (Noah's Mom) on that front. Do try the new flavor Meghan made especially for your Valentine. We call it STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER. David's brain wave. All I came up with was Strawberries and Cream, not very inspired. Anyway....... It's Penuche fudge infused with strawberries with layers of white chocolate. It looks romantic and tastes exquisite!

P.S. Noah will be home soon from his trip to Israel. Can't wait to hear the details.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday season. We had a quiet family Christmas. My daughter Lauren came over from London and it was fun to watch her and Noah reconnect. Lauren is not a big fan of Facebook or any of the social network sites, so they had a lot of old fashioned catching up to do. David and I are enjoying not driving to NH every weekend now that the Cafe side of the business is closed for the winter. Noah is in Israel for the month, which is exciting. You can of course follow his travels on Facebook.

Ernest Thompson the writer and director of ON GOLDEN POND is coming over to look at The Mill Ice Cream Cafe with a view to using it as a location for the movie he is working on. Ernest is a customer, as are Lori and Morgan his production partners. I have been volunteering as his assistant on the production, Joel Cage had a small part, Terry provided his vintage truck, and Judy who is a customer does the photography for the shoot. All in all it feels like an extension of the Mill family.

Meghan is working on a couple of new fudge flavors. I wanted a stronger whisky flavor in our whisky fudge, and a special flavor for Valentines day. So watch out for those.
